Demarcation of the border with Montenegro continues to remain a pending issue for the new government of Kosovo.
Since the very first cabinet meeting of the new government, Kosovo’s PM, Ramush Haradinaj discharged the State Commission for the Delimitation of the State Border chaired by Murat Meha.
According to Haradinaj, the new commission, which is yet to be appointed, will submit to the government the findings of the work that has been done so far about the demarcation of border with Montenegro.
Meanwhile, Haradinaj replaced the chairman of this commission, Murat Meha with former MP of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Shpejtim Bulliqi.
Meanwhile, Pristina and Podgorica signed the border demarcation deal in August 2015. This agreement then turned into a condition of the European Union for the process of the liberalization of the visa regime for the citizens of Kosovo. /balkaneu.com/
