The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci declared today that the lack of will by the opposition bloc to engage in talks in order to overcome the crisis, will send the country in fresh extraordinary elections.
Thaci made these comments during the meeting of the steering committee of PDK, which was held today in Pristina.
He has accused the “blocking bloc”, like he called it, for causing this political crisis after the recent elections.
“PDK reconfirms its readiness to form institutions by respecting the ruling of the Constitutional Court. We have sent an invitation to all political representatives to sit down and talk in order to solve the situation. We have also supported the incentive of the president, but so far, no progress has been made as a result of the blockade of the opposition bloc”, said Thaci.
“If the blocking bloc continues with this approach, then new elections are the only way out”, added Thaci. /ibna/
