Deputy PM and Foreign Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci has met with the Dutch Foreign Minister, Bert Koenders, with which he discussed the latest developments in Kosovo and the region and the possibilities of strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
The two counterparts said that Kosovo and Holland have very good bilateral relations and have no pending issues between them.
A press release issued by the Foreign Ministry says that Thaci declared during this meeting that Kosovo, which is now consolidated in both the domestic and foreign aspect, has turned into a factor of peace and cooperation in the region.
“The entire region is focused on the Euro Atlantic future, development and cooperation. During these moments of turning point for the region, it’s very important that the EU remains committed toward the European future of the region”, said deputy PM Thaci.
The two counterparts said that for a long term stability of the region, there must be a sustainable economic development and for this, the support of the EU and its member countries, is very important for the West Balkan countries.
Deputy PM Thaci is staying in the Hague, Holland, where he’s participating in the conference on Security in the Cybernetic Space. /ibna/
