Minister of Interior in FYR Macedonia, Gordana Jankulovska declared that around 24 people will face criminal charges, while 10 others will be convicted due to their participation in the recent protests.

“These people have been identified as participants in the protests of recent days. In contrast to other protesters, they are a violent group. In the recent days, MoI has worked to identify these people and we have evidence that they were part of the violence”, declared the Minister of Interior, Gordana Jankulovska.

Mrs. Jankulovska also reacted about the burning of the Macedonian flag in the protests held in Pristina to support Albanians in FYROM.

“I condemn this act and the behavior against these individuals and I appeal for authorities in Kosovo to shed light upon this case and for the perpetrators to be brought to justice”, declared Jankulovska.

Asked about the protests that have been warned to take place tomorrow (Friday), Jankulovska said that MoI is taking all necessary measures for the situation not to escalate. /ibna/
