Telephone conversation  Obama-Merkel for Greece

Telephone conversation had Sunday US President Barack Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, on the developments in the Greek issue.

According to Reuters, which cites sources from the White House, the two leaders noted that it is “critically important” to make efforts to return to a “path” that will allow Greece to implement reforms and return to growth in the Eurozone.

The economic groups of the two leaders monitor the Greek sistuation and will remain in close contact, concludes Reuters’s telegraph.

“The President spoke today with Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, on developments in Greece. The two leaders agreed that it was extremely important to make every effort in a direction that will allow Greece to implement reforms and to achive growth within the Eurozone. The leaders confirmed that the staffs of their finances carefully monitor the situation and remain in close contact. The President also expressed his condolences to the Chancellor for the loss of German citizens in the tragic attack Friday in Tunisia”.
