A Thursday report showed a profit decline of 22% for the group (which comprises subsidiaries based in Slovenia and Southeast Europe), which reached 23.5 million euros in the first three quarters of 2018.
“Sales revenue and gross operating profit (EBITDA) edged down 1% year-on-year to EUR 538.1m and EUR 153m, respectively.”
Still, the group level EBITDA amounted to 108 million euros in the first half, which is 5% more than in the same period in 2017.
Also, the January-June months proved profitable for Telekom Slovenije alone that generated 320.9 million euros in revenues, up 2% year-on-year.
The Slovenian telecommunications company noted that “growth in revenue is attributed to higher earnings from IT, broadband and wholesale services”.
