The latest decision of the government of Kosovo to lift the tax for the inhabitants of the Valley of Presevo who visit Kosovo has come into effect with this tax being lifted. Last midnight, they have crossed the border of Kosovo without paying the tax which they were forced to pay two years in a row.
The decision for the lifting of the tax for the inhabitants of the Valley of Presevo was lifted in a time of campaign by those who introduced it on December 26, 2011.
The first people who entered Kosovo were satisfied with the lifting of this tax. According to them, this tax was not necessary in the first place. The same criticism has been addressed by analysts toward Prime Minister Hashim Thaci, saying that he has lifted this tax in a time of campaign, at a time when he, himself, had imposed this tax. /ibna/
