Tax on Serbian imports should push both sides to reach an agreement, says Haradinaj

Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj delivered a news conference today where he commented the meeting held with US senior officials John Erath and Brad Berkley.

PM Haradinaj said that he informed the US officials on the importance of the dialogue between the two countries. “Dialogue should continue in order to reach a binding agreement with the existing borders”, he said.

Kosovo’s PM also said that there can never be a Serbian Republic in Kosovo, but an Association of Serb municipalities as set out in the Brussels’ agreement.

Asked about the tariffs imposed on Serbia and the US’ request to scrap this tax, PM Haradinaj said that this tax should be regarded as something that will push both sides to reach an agreement as soon as possible. /ibna/
