Over 1900 people have been employed in Albania thanks to the construction of the Trans-Adriatic pipeline and more than 80% of them are Albanians.
This was announced by TAP’s general director for Albania, Shkelqim Bozgo, according to whom, the experience that they are gaining through their training and by applying the highest standards which are followed during the construction of TAP, is a great benefit for companies and Albanian professionals.
Let us recall that TAP pipeline will carry natural gas from the fields of Shah Deniz II in Azerbaijan to Europe, passing through Turkey, Greece, Albania and ending up in Italy.
Its shareholders are BP 20%, Socar 20%, Snam s.p.a 20%, Fluxys 19%, Enagas 16% and Axpo 5%. /balkaneu.com/
