Construction works for the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) in Albania and Greece are getting ready to enter the second phase.
This was confirmed by the contractors of this pipeline, according to whom almost half of the works of the first phase has been completed in both countries, around 47% of the volume of works or around 370 km of pipeline in both neighboring countries.
Let us recall that the entire length of the pipeline in Albania will be 550 km, while its length in Greece will be 215 km. Meanwhile, the other part of the pipeline project which will stretch to Italy, is pending.
This project which has a geo-strategic importance, is expected to be completed in 2020 and up to now, works in Albania and Greece have been carrying on in line with the plan and there have been no delays. /balkaneu.com/
