Negotiations will resume today for the solution of the political crisis in the country.
The meeting is expected to take place in the afternoon and present in it will be the four leaders of the main political parties in the country, Nikola Gruevski of VMRO-DPMNE, Zoran Zaev of SDSM, Ali Ahmeti of BDI and Menduh Thaci of PDSH.
Mediating in this meeting will be the US ambassador to Skopje, Jess Baily and EU ambassador, Aivo Orav.
The EU office declared today that during this meeting, ambassador Orav will present a report prepared by a group of experts from the European Commission on FYROM.
The continuation of negotiations has been confirmed by leader of SDSM, Zoran Zaev.
“In the framework of this meeting, we will also announce a date and deadlines of how things will move forward”, Zaev declared.
These negotiations are held following the negotiations in Brussels on 10 June, which failed.
However, in the presence of Euro Enlargement Commissioner, Hahn, on June 2, sides signed an agreement in order for the country to head to fresh elections in April 2016, which would be organized by an interim government. /ibna/
