Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri has travelled to Brussels today to participate in the new round of talks called by the European Union.
She says that the scope of this meeting is to unblock the implementation of the agreements reached on 25 August 2015, which have been blocked by Serbia for a year now.
Minister Tahiri says that she will stress once again the stance of the government of Kosovo that the lack of implementation of these agreements by Serbia clearly indicates the serious violations of the Serb side to the agreements signed by the prime ministers of both countries and EU head of diplomacy, Federica Mogherini.
Minister Tahiri will also raise her concerns relating to some destructive actions by Serbia and the claims for unlawful constructions which are causing tension and discontent and which can cause destabilization of the security situation.
“I would demand from the EU to take the necessary measures to stop Serbia from violating the principles of the dialogue for good neighboring relations, otherwise government of Kosovo will respond through the force of law against anything illegal”, she said. /balkaneu.com/
