President of the European Socialists (PES) Sergei Stanishev had a telephone conversation on Wednesday with the president of PASOK Evangelos Venizelos and the President of the Democratic Socialist Movement Giorgos Papandreou, and was briefed on the electoral period in Greece and the situation that has been formed.
As was announced by PASOK, “Mr. Stanishev expressed his full support to PASOK – Democratic Side and in his role as guarantor of political and institutional stability in Greece”.
According, however, to reliable information from the Socialist Democrats Movement, Mr. Stanishev told Mr. Papandreou that the European Socialist Party, in the greek elections, will support three parties: PASOK, the Democratic Socialist Movement and The River.
