Threats for terrorist acts during the women football match between Albania and France have arrived in Tirana, thus engaging authorities and units that specialize in the fight against terror and secret services.
Police of Tirana informed today that a plan of measures has been drafted for this match. Starting from 6 pm on Friday until midnight on Saturday, all roads leading to “Qemal Stafa” stadium in the center of the capital, will be closed.
No cars will be allowed to be parked around the stadium and all commercial premises around it will be closed.
Police says that pedestrians that cross these roads will be searched.
The alarm was given by the State Informative Service and there are fears that this sport activity may be subject to an attack by elements suspected of being tied to ISIS.
SHISH has suggested not making lots of publicity in order to avoid a large number of fans. This way, police and SHISH may find it easier to offer security during this activity.
Several international football activities were cancelled in Belgium and Germany, immediately after the terrorist attacks in Paris, which claimed the lives of 129 people.
This match will be played for group 3 of theEuro 2017 qualifying matches . /ibna/
