Strike keeps airplanes on the ground on Thursday in Greece

No flight will take place from and togGreek airports on Thursday, April 7, due to the involvement of air traffic controllers and employees in the Civil Aviation Authority in the 24-hour strike ADEDY has declared on social security.

The strike of controllers will start at 0:01 after midnight Wednesday (Thursday morning) and will end at midnight of the same day (Thursday).

During the 24-hour strike the performing flights as reported by the Air Traffic Controllers Union, set at NOTAM in respect of:

Flights overflying Athinai Fir Hellas Uir.

Flights carrying Heads of State.

Flights of Greek air force involved in operational missions and planned exercises.

Flights of aircrafts facing unusual situations or suffer from need.

Nosocomial flights, humanitarian flights and search and rescue aircraft.
