Former PM and leader of opposition party, VMRO-NP, Lubco Georgievski has declared that every step which is attempted to be made without Albanians, threatens to destroy the country.

“Albanians must not be undermined. Every step which is attempted to be made without Albanians, threatens to destroy Macedonia. They are backed by Albania and Kosovo. We must respect other ethnic groups, because Muslims may be a majority in the next census. We must collaborate with all ethnic groups and join forces for the integration process”, said Georgievski in a TV interview.

Georgievski believes that the solution for the political crisis may come through an institutional and legal agreement between two rival parties, VMRO-DPMNE and LSDM (Macedonian Social Democratic Union).

“A new government must be appointed, even if the PM belongs to the majority. Ministries must be chaired by prominent experts, because our country deserves this. This solution can be achieved even without foreigners, if there’s a will, but it would not be a tragic thing if we had some international representative”, declared Georgievski.
