After a long period of time, the state of Kosovo has been recognized today by the Republic of Suriname. The news was confirmed by Kosovo’s Foreign Minister, Enver Hoxha.
“Our thanks go to president Desi Bouterse, whom I had the pleasure to meet last week in Guyana and also to the government of this country”, declared Kosovo’s chief of diplomacy.
Suriname is a country in South America and according to the statistics of the World Bank, it has a population of half a million people.
Although there is no official figure, Kosovo’s Foreign Ministry webpage says that Kosovo is now recognized by 111 foreign countries. /balkaneu.com/
