Leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Hashim Thaci has convened a meeting today with MPs of this party to discuss the creation of the Special Tribunal.
“It was an ordinary meeting of PD parliamentary group to discuss the order of the day in the parliament of Kosovo”, Thaci said.
However, Thaci confirmed that this meeting has discussed the issue of the creation of the Special Tribunal.
“We also discussed the necessity of finalizing the process for the creation of the Special Tribunal as soon as possible”, Thaci added.
“I believe that parliament of Kosovo must not go on recess before finalizing this important issue”, said the leader of PDK.
Meanwhile, the deputy speaker of Parliament from (PDK), Xhavit Haliti, said after the meeting that the Special Tribunal was not in the order of the day.
“We haven’t had the Special Tribunal in the day’s proceedings. You know that the issue of the tribunal is a priority for Kosovo”, Haliti said.
He said that PDK has made efforts to communicate with other parties, but so far there have not been any results. /ibna/
