In its meeting at noon, the parliamentary group of the Socialist Party in Albania has proposed two candidates for members of the Supreme Council of Justice.
Albana Shtylla and Vangjel Kosta are the two candidates proposed by the SP, after parliament removed the vice chairman of SCJ, Elvis Cefa and the other member, Lulzim Lelcaj.
Vangjel Kosta has previously worked in the Supreme Court, while now, he is a lawyer. Meanwhile, Albana Shtylla has been a member of the Central Election Commission. The nominations are expected to be approved by the parliamentary law committee before being voted in parliament.
A few days ago, parliament removed Cefa and Lelcaj with 72 votes in favor for violating the Constitution and the law, while the opposition was not present due to the boycott which is lasting several months now. /ibna/
