Socialist leader comments the latest political developments for journalists

Tirana, May 20, 2013

Prior to commencement of the National Convention of Socialist Party for the second day, Edi Rama, the leader of SP, said that the governing program will be presented during the course of today’s proceedings.

In addition, he stressed that the opposing party doesn’t have a program, underlining that the socialist program is different from past ones and it aims to serve the interest of communities and other groups, adding that this program is also a public property.

Asked about the declaration of SMI lawmaker, Nasip Naco that Ilir Meta will be the next Prime Minister after the elections, the head of Socialists answered “Speeches or phrases encouraged by enthusiasm in the electoral campaign will cause no diversion for the Alliance of the European Albania. The coalition is synced with Socialist Movement for Integration and other allies, therefore, there’s no need to worry about it. The decision on the next prime minister after the victory is the simplest, in accordance with constitution and the will of people”, said Rama

Rama took the opportunity to remind the SP supporters that they gather in rallies because they want renaissance, while the supporters of Democratic Party are threatened their jobs if they don’t participate. /ibna/
