Technology and tax paying, two seemingly non-related fields will be the main focus of today’s, Thursday October 5, conference in the Estonian capital.
European tax experts and IT specialists will speak about IT and service design and how, through e-services, citizens could be guided and thus helped to pay their taxes easily and as a result add money to the state kitty. On top of that, the speakers will present thoughts on ways collected taxation data can be reflected back to taxpayers and their businesses.
A pilot project carried out by the Estonian Tax and Customs Board (ETCB) and the University of Tartu will as well be presented.
The conference will be livestreamed (starting at 09:15 a.m. CET) and is organized by the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the EU and the Estonian Tax and Customs Board…/IBNA
