Slovenian GZ sees glitches in cross border services act
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (Gospodarska zbornica Slovenije - GZS) has pointed out that due to specific inconsistencies, the implementation of the new legislation regarding the cross border services, "hinders business opportunities for companies and puts them in a rather uncertain position", STA reads.

"Employers want a simple business environment without constant changes which hinder stability and predictability of operation," the GZS said in a press release on Monday, and asks the Slovenian government to take action by establishing "a single and transparent system."

The GZS spotted certain problems in the first two months of the implementation of the new legislative conditions that include documentation and certain rules and instructions connected with papers the posted workers have to have, that are not in agreement with the new act.

Due to "different interpretations of the term of posted worker", the chamber stressed" has already "resulted in unequal treatment from the aspect of labour and tax legislation and regulation on social insurance.".../IBNA
