Slovenians who live in Ukraine are advised by the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to avoid places where protesters are gathered, or where security forces are based. They are also advised to watch the news and seek the advice of the authorities.

The travel warning was issued after the escalation of the violence on Thursday, which resullted in the deaths of at least 25 people.

Slovenian Foreign Ministry officials met Ukrainian Ambassador, Mykola Kirichenko on Wednesday, expressing their deep concern about the escalating violence.
