Slovenia is a country which supports the process of European Integration, but at the same time, it also supports Albania’s integration in it.
This was declared by the Albanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati who had a meeting with his Slovenian counterpart, Miro Cerar.
According to him, this support was manifested in 2014 when Albania was granted the candidate status, but even during the discussions that were held last June for the opening of accession talks with the European Union.
“Our country has expressed its ambition to take over OSCE’s chairmanship in 2020 and Slovenia has backed our candidacy”, Bushati also said.
Meanwhile, referring to the economic cooperation that exists between Albania and Slovenia, he said that “today, along with the business communities of both countries, we have the opportunity to hold a business forum in Tirana and we hope that this serves as a clear signal to boost trade between the two countries”, Bushati said. /ibna/
