Pristina, June 4, 2013
Kosovo will participate in the Summit of Slovakia. This was confirmed by the Slovak Foreign Minister, Miroslav Lajcak, who has declared that Kosovo will participate in the summit of the heads of states of central and southeastern Europe which will be held in Slovakia.
“The formula of representation is the one used in the past and which has been acceptable by all participants, the ‘gymnich’ formula where there are no flags and no national symbols”, said Lajcak in Belgrade where he’s staying on an official visit.
The summit in question will take place on June 12 and 13.
But, Lajcak said that Slovakia will not recognize the independence of Kosovo. This country is one of the five countries of the European Unions that has not recognized the independence of Kosovo.
Meanwhile, the Ohrid Summit failed due to the fact that Kosovo was not invited in it. /ibna/
