The Minister of Environment and Energy, Panos Skourletis met with Iran’s Ambassador to Greece, Majid M. Shabestari. According to an announcement of the Ministry, in the meeting were discussed bilateral energy cooperation, which has been developed with positive results.
On this basis, it is intended to further strengthen energy relations between the two countries in terms of mutual benefit.
This meeting is to seal the beginning of cooperation that was reached during the trip of Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras Greek in Tehran in February 2016. In May of that year, a large delegation of Greek entrepreneurs, participated in the International Exhibition in Tehran, further enhancing the business climate and cooperation between the two countries.
