“Alexander the Great” airport in Skopje, secured a sport among the ten best airports in East Europe in the “Skytrax 2015” world awards.
During the allocation of “Skytrax” awards held as part of the Passenger Terminal Expo in Paris, Skopje’s airport was announced the ninth best airport in Eastern Europe. Among the best ten airports were the one in Budapest, Talin, Kiev, Belgrade, Tbilisi, Sofia, Bratislava and Varna.
“The fact that Skopje airport has won a spot among the 10 best airports of East Europe is a confirmation of our work, because Skytrax is a prestigious organization on a global level which makes the assessment of airports. This award encourages us to improve our services and serve to the passengers”, declared Zoran Krstevski, general director of “TAV Macedonia”, the company in charge of Skopje’s airport.
The research included 550 airports in the world and the research analyzed the needs of passengers in aspects such as check-in, transfers, shopping, security and other segments. /ibna/
