Skopje Court sentences a group for recruitment and participation in the war in Syria

Criminal Court of Skopje has handed today the sentences for the five defendants in the so called “Cell” case, accused of recruitment and participation in the war of Iraq and Syria, in the framework of the ISIS network. These sentences were delivered after the defendants pleaded guilty.

Isa Fuga was sentenced to four and a half years, Abdulla Abdullahi was sentenced to 3 years and one month, Eroll Rustemi was sentenced to 4 years, Imer Muhamedi was sentenced to 2 years, while Stefan Stefanovski was sentenced to 2 years. The latter, who is a doctor by profession, had accepted Islam and was serving the purposes of the group, while the charges state that he has even been to Syria.

Part of this group were also 23 other people, 7 of which were sentenced a month ago, while the rest is at large. /balkaneu.com/
