Skopje, the second cheapest city in Europe

Skopje has been ranked second in the list of low cost cities in Europe. The study on this has been carried out by “Cost of Living Index Number” 2014.

According to this study, Skopje is ranked second as the cheapest capital in Europe and is on the list of the 10 cheapest capitals of the world.

“Lunch/dinner in a restaurant cost on average 4,50 USD per person. A rented apartment is around 325 USD a month in the city downtown”, reads the study of “Cost of Living Index Number”.

The study also stresses that Skopje is a beautiful capital with different places to spend time and walk.

Special attention is paid to the central part, Skopje’s square and the old part of the city, which is an attraction for foreign tourists.

In the first place of the list is Kishinev,  the capital of Moldova, on the third place is Kiev, Sofia on the fourth and Tirana on the sixth. Then there’s Bucharest, Sarejevo, Prague, Warsaw, etc. /ibna/
