Skopje, May 7, 2013 – The court of Skopje has sentenced today with 13 years imprisonment the Macedonian Petar Mavenski, who killed the Albanian student, Muhamed Jashari.
The horrible crime happened in the courtyard of school Zdravko Cvetkovski in Skopje, on April 2011. The murderer is still a fugitive but the court of Skopje has issued the ruling today. Stefan Golev has also been sentenced to four month in prison as an accomplice to brutal physical violence against the young Albanian, who lost his life as a result of heavy wounds. This incident was a subsequence of other ethnical incidents that have occurred recently in the schools of Skopje, in which student Muhamed Jashari who was finishing the high school, was the victim. He was attacked with strong objects in the body, suffering serious wounds, which subsequently led to his death.
