Six people face criminal charges on the fatal accident occurred in Skopje

Prosecutor’s office today has filed criminal charges against six people for their involvement in the deadly accident that occurred last month in the west of the capital, Skopje, where 15 people died and 38 remained injured. Among the suspects are the owner of the bus and the driver. According to the investigator of this, Saso Rajcev, the driver has exceeded the speed limit.

“After exceeding the speed limit, the driver of the bus has lost control of the vehicle. This caused the bus to leave the road. The driver could not do anything to stop the bus due to technical problems with the brakes, which have been only partially working”, Rajcev said.

Meanwhile,  he also said that the bus was travelling 99 km/h, while the speed limit was 80 km/h. /ibna/
