The head of the Serb radicals, Vojislav Sejsl has announced that he will hold a visit to Northern Mitrovica today to deliver a speech in the framework of an electoral meeting.
His visit has caused numerous reactions in Pristina. Police say that there’s an arrest warrant in force and that they are determined to execute it.
The deputy chief of police of the North of Kosovo, Besim Hoti declared that the head of Serb radicals, Vojislav Sheshel will not be allowed to enter the north of Kosovo.
“We have an order that prohibits his entry to Kosovo. That order will be executed by border police”. Hoti said.
Hoti has ruled out the possibility that Sesjl may enter Kosovo through illegal routes, but in this case, according to Hoti, he would commit a criminal offense and police will act based on the law.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Petrit Selimi says that if Sesjl comes to Kosovo, he will be arrested by authorities in Kosovo.
“Sesjl will never be allowed entry in the territory of Kosovo. If he attempts it, he will be arrested”, Selimi said.
Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri said that Serb senior officials have abused with the agreement for the normalization of relations between the two countries by making nationalist declarations during their visits to Kosovo.
Tahiri said that this issue will be discussed in the next meetings with EU officials.
Sesjl was acquitted of all charges of war crimes in Croatia and Bosnia by the Hague Tribunal. /balkaneu.com/
