Serbian Orthodox Church Against Agreement With Pristina

 

In a letter by the Serbian Orthodox church, its highest body – Sinod – thinks that by signing the agreement between Belgrade and Pristina, Serbia is institutionally pulling back from the territories which have belonged to it for centuries.

The church thinks that it should not have been negotiated with persons for whom there’s a warrant issued in Serbia (Hashim Taci) and that the signed agreement gives freedom of European integrations to the independent Kosovo.
