Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic’s speech, during which he declared a national emergency and called out to China instead of the European Union for help, has raised some eyebrows in the Asian country.
This resulted in Vucic’s appeal to China for help in providing medicines, equipment and medical staff being broadcast on Chinese television and the social network Veibo.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said Sunday night that he had sent a letter to the President of China, asking that he receives “everything from China”, even doctors. The Serbian President referred to the Chinese President Xi Jinping as a brother and friend of the country which “safeguards him a steel friendship”. /ibna
