Serbia’s first Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic is traveling to China and will stay there from February 26th to February 28th, at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
The two sides will exchange views on the situation and prospects of the overall bilateral relations shared by Serbia and China, while they will also discuss models for further deepening the two countries’ overall strategic partnership and co-operation, the Foreign Ministry announced.
Special focus will be given on the preparations for Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic’s upcoming visit to China, on the occasion of the China-Central and Eastern Europe Summit in Beijing, as well as on the preparations for the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Serbia in 2020.
The visit will be an opportunity to express solidarity and full support for China’s efforts to combat the further spread of COVID-19, not only within China but beyond. /ibna
