Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will attend an international conference on “The World After Coronavirus” will be held on Friday as part of the “Belgrade Strategic Dialogue” initiative.
The conference will focus on the analysis of the geopolitical, economic and health aspects of the coronavirus pandemic through three thematic groups, as was announced by the organizers, and will begin with an introductory speech by the President of Serbia.
In the first thematic group, Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić and Chinese and Russian ambassadors Chen Bo and Alexander Bocan Harchenko will discuss the geopolitical implications of the pandemic, according to organizers.
In the second thematic group on “The economy after the pandemic”, the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia Jorgovanka Tabakovi, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia Marko Čadež will speak, and among the participants will be the Vice President of the Foreign Investors Council, Dejan Turk.
Representatives of health professionals Predrag Kon, Darija Kisic Tepavcevic, Srdja Jankovic, Branimir Nestorovic, the head of the Chinese medical team Dr. Peng Jijiang, and the representative of the Balkan Center of the World Health Organization for the Balkans, Abebayeh Asef Mengistu, will speak on the third thematic unit.
The sixth conference of the Belgrade-based BSD Strategic Dialogue Foundation, organizers say, is an opportunity for Serbian officials, diplomats, economists and health experts to look at the range of challenges the coronavirus pandemic poses to humanity and Serbia, as well as to shed light on the unknown problem of pandemic./ibna
