Serbia’s Foreign Minister, Ivica Dacic, has commented the declaration of Kosovo’s Foreign Minister, Hashim Thaci about Serbia’s expansionist mentality, by saying that Pristina doesn’t know what it wants, dialogue or monolog.
In a situation when talks in Brussels are being held based on resolution 1244 of UNO, it’s pointless to respond to the provocations made by Mr. Thaci, said Dacic.
“To accuse Serbia for expansionism at a time when you try through force and violence and in a unilateral way, try to violate its territorial integrity and when on a daily basis, you talk about Greater Albania, which threatens the territorial integrity of several countries, then this is the end of hypocrisy”, said Dacic.
He added that Serbia is determined for dialogue and stability in the region, but it seems that its constructiveness is being seen as a weakness in Pristina.
“Thaci must be clear about the fact that the days when the talks with Serbia could be held based on the principle ‘take it or leave it’ are long gone”, said Dacic.
Foreign Minister of Kosovo, Thaci, said yesterday that Serbia is trying to make noise with the so called plans for Kosovo, something that shows that Serbia cannot overcome “its expansionist mentality belonging to last century”. /ibna/
