Three MPs from Kosovo who had been invited to participate in the conference on the occasion of Europe’s Day, which was scheduled to take place on 11-12 May in Belgrade, have had their invitations cancelled.
Vjosa Osmani, Bleta Deliu and Ilir Deda had been invited by the chairman of the European integration committee at the Serb parliament, Nenad Canak, but the Serb assembly speaker, Maja Gojkovic cancelled the invitation saying that she’s ready to leave this post if the invites are not cancelled.
Meanwhile, Kosovo’s MP, Ilir Deda said that “this is Serbia’s true anti-European face on the day of Europe. Such acts go against the declarations for normalization of relations with Kosovo and commitment for Western Balkans’ European path”. /ibna/
