Following consultations with President Aleksandar Vučić, SNS Vice President Miloš Vučević said that the representatives of the “Aleksandar Vučić – For Our Children” electoral list had requested a mandate to form the new government.
He stressed that there were no mentions of personal solutions.
As he said, he expects that the National Assembly of Serbia will be formed by August 3rd and then the government will follow by the legal deadline, that is, November 3rd.
“After a convincing victory in consultations with the president, our electoral list has legitimately requested a mandate to form the government, and there is no political dilemma”, Vučević said.
“Our prediction is that by the end of August, beginning of September, a government will be elected, which will be a government of continuity”, Vučević said.
He added that the conversation with the president was very important, not only for the issues of the parliamentary majority, the government, but also for other affairs, such as the coronavirus crisis and the economic challenges. /ibna
