Deputy Prime Minister of the government of Kosovo from the Serb List, Branimir Stojanovic, has warned that Serb representatives of the Serb List may boycott the Parliament of Kosovo.

Stojanovic made these declarations during today’s extraordinary meeting of the four Serb communes in Zvecan.

“This situation is unacceptable. The decision for Trepça is not economic, but political. This situation may lead us to boycott any voting that will take place in the Parliament of Kosovo”, Stojanovic said.

Meanwhile, mayor of Northern Mitrovica, Goran Rakic, declared that the bill on Trepça, which is expected to be approved in Parliament, will not be applied in the north of Kosovo.

“The consequent decisions taken without consulting representatives of the Serb government will be considered void and as such, they will not be implemented in the north of Kosovo”, Rakic said.

He demanded from the international community to intervene and not to allow this bill which he considered as outrageous. /
