Serb List requests a bigger presence of UNMIK in Kosovo

A delegation of the Serb List Party, led by this party’s chairman, Goran Rakic, is participating in the UN-Kosovo Forum, which has started on May 6th and which will last two days.

On the sidelines of the forum, Rakic has had a meeting with the head of UNMIK, Zahir Tanin, saying that UNMIK’s presence in Kosovo is of a special importance for the Serbs of Kosovo.

He even requested from Tanin to increase UNMIK’s presence in the country. According to him, this would be in line with Resolution 1244 of the UN Security Council. /ibna
