The meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the member countries of Southeastern European Cooperation Process (SEECP) was held today in Bucharest in the framework of the Romanian chairmanship of the organization. Present in this meeting (photo) were foreign ministers of 12 member countries and representatives from the European Commission and other organizations and institutions which exert their activity in the region.
All the member countries expressed their full support for the Albanian presidency of SEECP.
Foreign Minister of Albania, Ditmir Bushati stressed the will of the Albanian government for good neighboring relations and cooperation with SEECP member countries and praised the full support given by the member countries for Albania’s EU membership candidate status to be granted this June, considering the process of European integration process as a national objective for Albanians.
This was the last meeting hosted by the Romanian chairmanship, before Albania takes it over for the period 2014-2015. Bushati says that Albania remains entirely engaged and motivated to offer its contribution for a successful chairmanship of this process. /ibna/
