Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa declared today that the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) gives way to Kosovo’s accession in the European Union.
Mustafa made these comments in the meeting of the High Level Forum, which presented the Annual Report of Donors for 2014 and future priorities of the government of Kosovo.
Mustafa said in front of participants that Kosovo has made extraordinary progress in the recent years in every domain of society and that this progress was made thanks to the constant assistance and cooperation with international partners.
“SAA is a very important agreement to us, because it opens the doors to a contractual relation with the EU and to have another quality of economic cooperation with European countries”, PM Mustafa said.
Mustafa also expressed the commitment of the government of Kosovo to continue with the reforms for a clear perspective toward EU accession.
“The signing of the Stabilization and Association Agreement is the start of a long journey, which is made to come closer to the EU. We have no other alternative, because this alternative has been supported and embraced by our citizens and all of our friends”, Mustafa said. /ibna/
