German minister of State for Europe, Michael Roth said that the name dispute with Greece must be solved at all costs this year, otherwise, the status quo will continue. Roth said this after the meeting held with PM Zoran Zaev.
“Both sides have a will and they can come to an acceptable agreement”, said Roth, encouraging political dialogue and the judicial reforms in the country.
Meanwhile, PM Zaev said that this year must be a decisive year for the country’s European perspective. “If the country’s future in the EU and NATO is uncertain, then this will cause uncertainties for the security situation in the region and EU. We’re convinced that EU leaders are clear about this momentum and that this is a decisive moment for the country’s European perspective”, Zaev said. /ibna/
