Romania supports Albania’s integration in the European Union. This was stressed in the meetings that the Albanian Defence minister, Olta Xhacka held in Romania as part of her official visit there.
During the meetings that she had with PM Dancila and her counterpart, Fifor, both sides expressed their readiness to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
The two ministers also agreed on a new cooperation between Albania and Romania in the area of military medicine and joint training of special forces.
In the meeting that minister Xhacka had with PM Dancilla, the two figures discussed on Romania’s support about Albania’s process of EU integration, due to the fact that next year, Romania will take over the EU rotating presidency.
Meanwhile, the Albanian Defence minister also attended a plenary sitting of the Romanian parliament. /ibna/
