Tomorrow on Wednesday, the MPs will be taking a vote on the simple motion of censure initiated by the Social Democratic Party against Finance Minister Florin Citu, which was debated in the House of Representatives yesterday.
The Social Democrats have criticized Florin Citu for failing to proceed with measures to support the business environment, which has been severely affected by the coronavirus epidemic. For his part, Minister Citu responded that “Romania is perhaps the only country in the European Union that has seen economic growth in the first quarter of this year”.
In this effort, however, most parties, according to statements by PMP, UDMR, USR and national minority MPs, will not be voting in favor of the motion of censure. /ibna
