Cluj-Napoca, commonly known as Cluj, is the fourth most populous city in Romania and the place where the German hypermarket chain Kaufland has opened the third store on Thursday, November 23. With this new one, the retailer reached its 116th store of the Romanian network. A press release said that this is the first store that opens in a real estate complex.
The good news is that, this way, Kaufland “creates 90 new jobs” in the city, thus supporting “the development of the local community”, reports romaniajournal.ro.

Kaufland, which also owns Lidl, is one of the top retailers in Europe, with over 1,000 stores in Germany, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania and Slovakia. The German chain plans to open stores in Moldova and in a different continent, the far away Australia…/IBNA
