Agency of Electronic Communications in FYROM announced today that as of June 30, charges for mobile roaming will go down with Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The head of this agency, Robert Ordanovski said that this fall of roaming charges follows the cooperation agreement that was signed between these countries last year in Budva, Montenegro. Ordanovski said that Albania will soon join this agreement and later on, other countries of the Balkan.
“The agreement is open for all countries that want to be part of it. We also call on other Balkan countries to apply these concessions to consumers”, said Ordanovski.
Based on the new prices, a telephone call will cost 17,9 denars, an SMS will cost 5,6 denars and 1 MB of internet will cost 43 denars. Prices will gradually fall until 2017. /ibna/
