“Every day that passes brings us closer to the iceberg collision. The uncoordinated orchestra of SYRIZA/ANEL keeps playing for its intraparty audience, unconcerned, but they have no right to drag the country to the bottom”, says The River and calls for a meeting of political leaders, in order to openly discuss the progress of negotiations and the safeguarding of the position of Greece in the Eurozone”.
The statement of The River is as follows:
“The Scottish shower the citizens experience, with the government one day appearing positive for the progress of the negotiations and the next disseminating that there is a stalemate, must come to an end.
These messages reflect the contradictions within the government. Some call for an agreement, like Mr. Papadimoulis and Mrs. Katselis, others, like Mr. Lafazanis and the “left platform” insist on a rapture, while others like Mr. Manios speak openly and casually even for a credit event, without pondering the disastrous consequences.
Every day that passes brings us closer to the iceberg collision. The uncoordinated orchestra of SYRIZA/ANEL keeps playing for its intraparty audience, unconcerned, but they have no right to drag the country to the bottom
Because Mr. Tsipras hesitates to make decisions, the River reiterates the proposal for a meeting of political leaders to openly discuss the progress of negotiations and the safeguarding of the position of Greece in the eurozone”.
Dimitris Koutsoubas: Rupture with the EU and the Capital
The exit from the memoranda and the rupture with the EU is the message of Labour Day, according to the statement made by the Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Greek Communist Party (KKE), Dimitris Koutsoubas, in the large May Day gathering of PAME at Syntagma.
The Labor Day shows us the way to exit memorandums and the laws they include, Koutsoubas stated while going to the rally. And at the same time, he said, it leads us to the development of the labor struggle for the remuneration of workers and collective agreements, towards a rupture with the EU, the Capital and its power.
