A short animated film called “Requiem for Pinocchio” by the Bosnian director Berin Tuzlic from Sarajevo, was shown last night in Skopje. Besides the film, an exhibition also opened with animated photos. Tuzlic said that he’s impressed by the exhibition that he opened in Skopje.
“I often come to Skopje. This is a film that was completed in February, was shown in the film festival in Cannes, while the film also won an award in the film festival in California”, Tuzlic said.
The Bosnian director said that the film “Requiem for Pinocchio” is an emotional confession, which recalls him the war in Bosnia and his feelings as a child, when “my entire world changed overnight”. /balkaneu.com/
